Event A Major Gathering in Honor of Georgia's Independence Day
A Major gathering of the Georgian diaspora in the United States will take place in Princeton on May 30 Dedicated to Independence Day, this event is being held for the second time this year. It is our goal to make it an annual tradition—one that unites an ever-growing number of people around shared Western values.
What to Expect at the Event
Unlike last year, all activities this year will be brought together at one large location: the Festival Grounds at Mercer County Park.
Our primary mission is to help build a strong, organized diaspora by connecting people who support Georgia's Western, democratic, and liberal path of development. No one else can build a strong diaspora for us. It is shaped by your ideas, your energy, and your experience. That is why even the smallest involvement from each and every one of you is crucial.
The event is open to new ideas and partnerships. The vast space of the Mercer County Park 's Festival Grounds will host a wide variety of activities:
Sports tournament | Kakha Tilidze (Tushi) Memorial Soccer Tournament
Ten different teams will participate in the tournament this year. However, beyond the competitive spirit, each match will hold a special meaning and symbolic significance. The soccer tournament is dedicated to the memory of Kakha Tilidze (Tushi), a Georgian emigrant living in the US, who died heroically in Ukraine fighting against Russian aggression.
Live Concert | Live performances by Georgian musicians
Georgian musicians will perform on a specially arranged open-air stage

Being in emigration does not mean distancing oneself from the processes of the homeland. On the contrary, even from across the ocean, it is possible to fight for the country's democratic and Western development. With this gathering, we want to prove once again that a strong and united diaspora is a force capable of exerting a real influence on Georgia's future.
Join us, because it is our collective steps that decide what tomorrow's Georgia will look like!
